Must-Read Fiction

Looking for a good story to read? Here are just some of the ones we highly reccommend.

Lived by Llamaesque

This story is, quite possibly, one of the best stories ever written. It's the story of a life as told by the best friend of a severe car accident victem, named Lydia. Not only is the story unique in itself, but the style is unique as well. It is written through a series of letters and radio broadcasts, which tell the story in no other way possible. The reader has the priviledge of seeing the world through Lydia's eyes and, most importantly, memories and flashbacks. You see first-hand the despair of the family, and the effects it has on two people in particular, Lydia, and a member of the family whom we think we know. Full of laughs, joys, tears, and devastating sorrows, this story is a must-read for anyone who has ever had a best-friend.

Zac Says Tay Still Wets the Bed by Nick

The first impression the title of this comedy-suspense novel is one of unpronouncable heights. But the story is totally different, and one all it's own. It's the story of America's three favorite brothers. Simple enough, right? Everyone does that, you say. Keep reading. On their flight (alone) back to New York from a vacation in England, the plane hijacked by Serbian military soldiers without warning. As we travel along with our three worried companions, good ol' Nick never let's a boring moment slip by us. In fact, it's downright movie-quality the way he has arranged things. (As a matter of fact, we still think that he should sell the rights to Dreamworks for $2.5 million...) The brothers are painted for us in such a way that it has never and will never be done again, for it is how we would expect them to act, only realistically and at times over-protectively, which is extremely hard to do. You grow to know these three young men as if they were your best friends. This story is full of bust-a-gut laughs, bite-your-nails off suspense, and heartstring-tugging quiet moments, for which Nick is famous. Please go read this story. You WON'T be sorry.

Now Tell Us What You Heard by Jessica Rose

This is the one most remarkable thing ever written in the history Hanson Fan Fiction. The description is unwritable, for we feel that everyone must take their own conclusions from this one. However, it is like nothing you have ever read, and ever will read again. You will never look at fanfiction the same way after you read it, for this is what HanFic is supposed to be. The only thing we can say about it, is that it is truly, truly remarkable. Go. Read. Now. You'll never be the same.

Think of Laura and Lady of my Heart by Karen

These two are among our favorite stories. Both are filled with laughs that will knock you out of your chair, but they both have deeper meaning than what you may see at first glance. "Think of Laura" is Taylor's story of a long-lost-love and his quest to get her back, and some answers along with her, while "Lady of my Heart" is the story of the youngest brother, Zac, and his plea for the heart of a reluctant woman. It is reccommended that you read them in chronological order (think of laura first) so that you may fully grasp the flow of it all, but as long as you read them it doesn't really matter. Karen spins the tails of the two love-struck brothers before our eyes, laughing, crying, and yelling along beside them, as if from a movie that never got written. The factor that both Taylor and Zac are having a tough time getting the love they desire, or getting the love they desire back, gets insanely frustrating, but that is one of the best points about it: you can't stop reading until you KNOW what happens! You must trust us when we say that these are definetly worth reading.
